COPENHAGEN, Denmark, January 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- LEO Pharma today announced that Picato® (ingenol mebutate) gel (0.015%, 0.05%) has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a treatment for actinic keratoses (AK) on the face, scalp, trunk and extremities.

Volumetrics Medical Imaging, LLC and Medison Co., Ltd. Announce Technology License and Settlement of Patent Litigation
Volumetrics Medical Imaging, LLC, of Durham, NC, and Medison Co., Ltd., of Seoul, Korea, have entered into a technology license agreement enabling Medison to make and sell products employing Volumetrics’ patents that enable real-time 3-D medical ultrasound images, for instance, of fetuses and of the heart. Concurrently with entering into the technology license agreement, Volumetrics has dismissed Medison from its patent lawsuit pending in the federal district court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
